The 2nd Street Dancers is a not-for-profit organization which provides aspiring dancers with the opportunity to perform in a variety of professional and semi-professional environments. In addition, the organization places an emphasis on education and community giving through the performing arts. This program seeks to to help each student develop a positive self image, experience the joy of dance, and achieve his maximum potential as a dancer.

The 2nd Street Dancers and it's teaching partner - The Dancing School, distinguishes itself through the superb performance of acclaimed ballets and works based on the traditions of classical ballet. This repertoire also includes original ballet and jazz choreography by local and visiting choregraphers.

The 2nd Street Dancers offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities for corporations and businesses that would like to be associated with the Company.

The Company also welcomes contributions from local and national foundations and government grant programs. With the assistance of our generous donors, the Company is able to:

Create new ballets
Represent the United States as cultural ambassadors to foreign countries
Provide professional ballet training to hundreds of students a year
Share the joy of dance with children and adults throughout our region at no cost to the recipients through our community outreach programs.
